Hello!

I need some help! I am VERY new to chickens, and once the chicks got put into the box on the way home, I got confused as to which chick was which breed. Can anyone help? I know the two RIR's that we have, but after that I am not positive.

I am supposed to have 2 Easter Eggers, 1 Golden Laced Wyandotte and 1 Plymouth Rock. I have been looking at internet photos, and I don't see an Plymouth Rock in my flock! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for any help!

To clarify which chick you are referring to:

The first photo is Stella
The second is Penny
The third is Maxine
The fourth is Ethel

Thank you! Oh well, guess I was meant to have 3 EE!
Hopefully they were right on the genders-- all pullets!!!

Thanks for your help!

I agree that Ethel is your GLW. However, I cannot tell from your pics, but do your EE have little muffs? If so, is there one of the 3 that doesn't... Wondering if maybe you picked up a partridge plymouth rock. See if a partridge rock fits with any of your chicks. Hope this helps

Ooooh! I think you are right-- I think Penny is a Partridge Plymouth Rock! Thank you-- google images seem to really look like Penny! I appreciate the help. Does that go along with what you were thinking?

Thanks!

Frankly, I was thinking between Penny and Maxine and that is why I asked if any of your EEs had muffs. If 2 do, and Ethel is a GLW, then you know the 4th is your partridge (assuming you really do have a plymouth rock).

Penny is your GLW. Ethel is your Plymouth Rock... I don't know how anyone else could have missed that... No offense.

Respectfully disagree with 15littlem. A side shot of Ethel might help. However, the feathering pattern of Penny is not consistent with a GLW and even from the front, Ethel is a GLW. Enjoy your babies, they grow up so fast
