look a few posts up. they say vanilla scented car fresheners. I am gonna try it too. Maybe it works

I am getting ready to try vanilla scented fresheners! We use DE, fly strips and two different fly baits...not working as well as I would like. Do not want my neighbors to complain. Will let ya know how this works.

I do think it's important to keep your pens/coops as clean as you can within reason and use DE and stall dry in the shavings as well. That helps to keep the poop dry and will not attract flies as much.

Also, we don't keep the dirty shavings on our place. We put them in those huge brown paper yard debris recycling bags and take them to the landfill right outside of town. That helps to keep an area from drawing flies as well.

I just put up new vanilla air fresheners today. Still no flies, but I don't want them to lose their effectiveness
