Thanks Celtic! I'm actually located in Kentucky. I looked up field fencing on Lowe's but it looks like they only sell huge rolls of it. I may check prices at our local farm stores and see if they can't beat Lowe's. It's alot to think about for sure.

Try amazon, it is way cheaper for the wire mesh fencing. I haven't looked up field fencing but depending on shipping costs it may also be a lot cheaper.

Our local stores are usually cheaper than the box stores. My husband is military though and gets a discount at Lowes and HD so at times it's a better deal.

Thanks for all the great advice everyone! I will let you all know how it turns out. By the way I found an adult female pekin to go with my boy (Camo). I'm going to look at her tomorrow.
