Help me identify my "mystery chicks" - def. not RIR!

I agree with the borwn leghorn suggestion these are brown legohrn chicks and i think they look the most like your little girl!

I'm going with Welsummer too, but EE is second guess.. You'll know at 5wks

I'v never seen a Brown leghorn chick.. so maybe?

They need to start making/breeding these things in stronger colors, like bright red, yellow, blue, green, purple..to stop all this confusion

OK, so I called the feed store where I purchased them from and asked for the name of the hatchery. They said it was Clearview Hatchery in PA. I called the guy at Clearview and he is insisting these chicks are RIRs....

Do you have an updated pic? My chicks look just like that, and I know they are sex-links (the breeder calls them Cinnamon Queens). Daddy was a RIR, Mama was either a Del or a SLW. The breeder got all kinds of babies-- from completely plain yellow or red to the full chipmunk-patterned yellow or red.

They're feathering out patterned instead of plain red-- I'd love to know what they're going to look like!
