Help me identify this breed!

Can anyone help me figure out this breed of my chick? It was a “mystery” chicken from murray mcmurray for ordering over 15 chicks! Our best guess is some kind of brahma because it has feathered legs. I just cant seem to find photos of its crazy colors. Google image search says its a pigeon

When I tried Google images with my chicks I got chicken and Emu.

It looks like a Buff Brahma chick to me.

Its in such a weird stage of feathers right now pigeon and emu arent far off

It’s a Buff Brahma. Slow maturity is very common in the breed when you have chicks late in the year. Here’s my cockerel when he was young. He took an unreal amount of time to feather in

definitely a beautiful buff Brahma!
They do take an incredibly long time to feather in and mature . But when they do they are beautiful!

Oh good to know! I was just telling my husband last night I was worried it had some skin damage or something because the chest is so naked still and all the other chicks are like fully feathered out!
