help me! im confused!

i ordered eggs from a hatchery and 5 of them just hatched. all that i have are blue silkies and silver laced wyandottes, the eggs were labled so i knew which was which. but i think one of my silvers might be a golden is it possible the eggs were labled wrong???

It is possible and hatchery birds are not always as pure as we'd like them to be, so it is possible you have a crossed chick. You'll be able to figure it out better once the bird feathers in an matures.

Hatchery birds are rarely 100% pure, but that doesn't mean you wont have fabulously-lovely birds!

I have had some birds hatch and not be what they were marked. It could be a surprise. Time will tell

ok lol i also have a blue silkie that looks more like a white silkie i like the white silkies and the golden laced wyandottes though so i dont care what kind they are
