help me make an incubator

I rescued the top half of LG incubator. How can I make a functioning incubator using the heat element? Can I also salvage the thermostat? I'm a middle aged mom that has never built anything requiring power tools. Any help is appreciated

If you can remove the heating element and thermostat without damaging any of it it should be reusable.
