Sorry to bud in at all but I am curious how you know if they are boys vs. girls? I am trying to figure that out the the 6 babies I have. They are about 4.5 weeks old. Would it be possible for me to know what they are?

Easy, look at their combs. The roosters already have big red combs and for some reason roosters grow slower then hens do. Look at the BO rooster .. he just kinda has feathers here and there. At if you look at one of the hens they have all their feathers. Plus in you pick up on of the hens they squat down like a rooster is mounting them. And the roosters are already trying to fight with me.
Sorry but ever since I read Mrs. Fluffy Puffy's name for the first time a couple of months ago, I can't think of any other chicken name. All my chicks from now on will have to be named Mrs. Fluffy Puffy. I only have one chick that knows her name - Zippy - and she runs away when she hears it.
I actually thought of it just looking at his sweet little face, and then I went back and read the duck comment and thought... omg that's too perfect! lol!
