So, all four of my other big girls have names...except my shy little easter egger. She is quite pretty. Kindof fawn colored with black/irridecent green throughout. Here is a picture.

Though you cannot see it in this picture, all of those black areas are irridecent green in the sunlight.

She's a pretty thing. If she winds up laying a greenish tinted egg, you could go with Emerald since that would match both the feathers and the leg. My mind keeps linking in the fact she's an EE so you wind up with Jelly Bean, Deviled Egg, Hershey (as in Hershey's Kisses), Peeps, and Rabbit Stew. Then again, I'm weird that way. I have one pullet I call Dodo and another named Melon since they reminded me of the dodo birds from Ice Age when they were about 4 weeks old.

I do tend to name my chickens after food...my last easter egger was named Waffle, but I cannot use jelly bean...the little sultan I lost was named jelly bean [IMG]

She does look very hawk-like doesn't she?

Her coloration reminds me of the tones in/around a volcano, so I would suggest Pele? I don't know......I'm not always good at this [IMG] But she does look fiery and ashen to me.
