I voted before i read what other chickens you were getting.
I love polish they are my favorite, but they can easily get picked on by other chickens so i wouldn't really advise them in a flock with other non-crested chickens.

I picked brahma because I have a couple of them and they are really sweet and lovable. They are only about 8 months old and just started laying last month.

I voted for the speckled sussex. THey are pretty. No messy head poofs of feathered feet that could get dirty.

Careful with the Polish.. All the ones we have ever had have been very flighty and shy. They are very beautiful birds though.
