One of the people my mom works with asked If I could do a kind of outreach with my chickens. It will be at the end of April. I'm trying to think up what do. Each group will be at the station for about 20 minutes.
My thoughts so far are make a poster or two on hatching (incubator and broody I did both methods last year), explaining the names (pullet, hen, cockerel, Rooster, chicken), take a couple of my chickens and maybe let them pet them and explain whats what (crop, comb, etc.).
Any other ideas?

I think that sounds pretty good for 20 minutes plus with allowing time for questions. You could talk about chickens for hours.

I know, I need to email her to see if there is anything in particular she wants me to go over. Any other thoughts?

WHat about explaining the whole peep raising thing?

Can do, can even bring my supplys for it.
Also, be prepared for this question...

"Don't the hens need a rooster in order to lay eggs?"

hahahahahaha

Yep, I'm getting ready for a lot of those type of questions.
