This is my first ever group of chickens. It's been a great learning experience thanks to the information on this forum! All are healthy and doing well thanks to what I have read here.

As usual for a newbie, I need sexing help for my BYM birds.

1. Unsure of sex on this one.

2. Brown dude. 95% sure he's a rooster. If not, "it" is a spazzy hen.

3. Top view of my 3 "not sures" these 3 are very reactive to one another.

4. Comb view of my little black suspect. She/he is the same size as the obvious little hens in front.

5. My barred rock hen (just because she's pretty)

See, that is why I am confused. I had another Barred Rock arrive with the other that VERY quickly and obviously became a Rooster.

if all these birds are between 12 and 19 weeks, then they're all pullets. A cockerel would have started to develop male feathering at 12 weeks, and would have had a noticeably larger and red comb by 8 weeks.
