Help me sex this Peking Duck

Does it quack loudly or does it have a raspy voice?

It quacks, but not too loudly.

Then it's most likely a female

Is the sound of its voice all we have to go on? I only have one, so I do not know how to compare the loudness of the quack. I've heard much louder quacking at the lake from the ducks that want your bread scraps...

It's a pretty accurate way to sex plus I don't see a drake feather on her tail

This would be ideal, since we got her for eggs as a baby. Maybe 4 months old now...

4 months old?
Well in another month you'll either see the tell tale drake feather or get an egg!
Then you'll know for sure!

Seriously, hens are LOUD!!
Like I can hear them in the house with the doors and windows closed when they are out back ready for dinner.

Boys are more mumbled and raspy.

I have 6 pekins.

You should, at least, hear a raspy-sounding peep or squeak by now if it's a boy. Girl peeps at that age are usually louder and sometimes you will hear a quack now and then at that age.

I think I see a little curl in its tail forming.

I always think males sound like crickets or frogs chirping at night. Females Quack.
