We got our first chickens last summer and I know they are hens and I think they said Red Sex Links?

The next ones are 10 weeks old and were sold as a "brown egg layer variety pack" 9 look identical (thinking maybe Rhode Island Reds?) And one is black (barred rock?). We have 5 of the reds and the black one. The other 4 reds went to my sister's. Here are some pics of the crew:

You are correct! Those are 2 RIRs and a Barred Rock. The BR looks like a cockerel because of his large comb and wattle, along with the light barring typical of BR males

The last 6 are bantams. I know 3 are silkies, 2 are polish, but the last is a mystery (ee?). I'd love to know their genders too:

I am pretty sure this is a roo:

Hoping that means this one is a pullet:

Hoping for these 2 polish to be pullets:

Hi, welcome to BYC! :frow

Those are either RIR or production reds, I don't know how to tell the difference between the 2 yet.

The white bars on the Rock do look a little wide... but I'm not seeing red in the comb and waddles that would indicate male by this age. And the legs are still thin. One of my hatchery BR also is a little whiter than what might be show quality standards, so I wouldn't worry about it right now. I say female. :)
