help me with my ventilation!

Many good points... whether you use shingles or metal matters not, what does is the ventilation... we have 13 girls, I am building a 4x8 and a 5x4 connected to it... 4 vent points in the 4x8, two on each side of coop,, 2 vents in the 4x5 one on each side, in the 4x8 it has (2) plexiglass windows bout 11x36 ea. they can be swung open on hinges with hardware cloth inside, other side of coop has (2) vents bout 12x12 inches, with hardware cloth inside.. also, the peak of the houses have "attic type" vents for air flow at the roof top... they can be purchases cheaply via Amazon, look in playhouse vents... placing many vent options give you the flexibility to open it up well during warmer weather and control it in winter, letting it vent while not letting cold drafts blow on the girls...
