If I have a broody that does not take care of herself, eating and drinking enough, I drag them out a couple of times a day. It will not hurt the eggs as far as cooling down. Eggs hold a lot of mass and will not be effected much. Yes, you have to be careful when getting her out of there that no eggs get broken, but it is for the good of the broody for her to learn how to keep herself alive during incubation.
