Found this in coop this morning after my chickens have been making a lot of noise! It's very sticky and somewhat solid, came in two pieces. Both girls have been acting normally. The one I suspect it came from has only been laying 1 month, both girls are under a year old[IMG][/IMG]

It may be a lash egg or product of salpingitis or oviduct infection, but it is hard to tell from the dirt. Lash eggs can be odd shaped and flesh colored. Occasionally, new layers will pass a broken shell-less egg that may look like a broken egg with a broken separate membrane.
