Hello I am new to this site but I want a pet duck or two but I am stuck on choosing a kind of breed... I am looking for a breed that is quiet, sociable, nice and friendly, can't fly, and is small. Anyone have any ideas of what breed of ducks suits me best? Thank you

I don't know much about ducks but, I think the only breed that doesn't fly is "Runner ducks." The duck people would know much more about it than I do.

I'm new here too . I have done some research and have learned that most male ducks don't make a lot of noise. If you want female ducks, look for a breed that is calm because they will be less likely to complain loudly when their environment changes. Call ducks are small but loud.

What will be the purpose of your ducks?
