Help me!

MY five mouth old male pekin duck Donald, has been showing some signs of aggression lately. he seems fine around my other three duck, but when I get close to the two girls he starts to walk towards me very angry like, is this just him being protective of the girl. ( I will note that I had to scold him a few days prier because his nipped me and I don't know if he just doesn't like me because I scolded him?)

This is a common problem for birds. Its his hormonnes that make him agressive and thier isnt much to be done. I had to kill mine as he was very agressive.

Chase him off and carry a long stick to keep him away from you. Definitely might not be a great Drake to keep around..

You can also use the broom to keep him away but don’t give up on him just let him know his behavior isn’t going to be tolerated. Never act afraid either when he comes towards you acting all aggressive you act the same way to him you are dominant duck there not him.

I had a mallard drake that would do that to me. Only during mating season but I loved him too much to cull him, but for me I could live with it. You have to decide if this is something you want to deal with it or not. It's his personality/hormones and will probably happen every year. Is he just free-range? Is there a way for him to have his own pen so you can at least "put him up" when you're tending to the other ducks and whatnot?

My Muscovy drake did the same some good members on here told me to put him down on his belly hand behind neck and at end of back hold him down till he stops fighting ( your not hurting him) just making an impression and letting him know just like another drake would do that your not going to put up with his craziness.- mine learned he is now over 7 yrs old and only on occasion do I have to remind him that I am not one of his girls

Their some what free ranged, we keep them in our fenced in back yard during the day and pen them up at night
