OMGosh how the heck does he eat?
Maybe he'll figure out the mating thing, maybe not. Might have a pet rooster on your hands there.

When I feed him, I feed him in large portions in a bowl type thing. He puts his head in here and munches on whatever he can grab, he usually knocks most of the food out, so that's why I feed him in large portions.

What do you feed him? Can you see his nares still? My Cleo was attackd by raccoon last week chewed her beak off too. Everyone told me put her down but, she is my girl i hav her on antibiotics and pain meds and i suring fred her. Im hopin in time shell be able to eat by hersel. I hav to atleast try to save my girl, right? My husband thinks im obserd.

Of course you should try to save her! I would feed Luke chick starter for about 3 months after his accident, then i started to feed him just regular chicken feed, occasionally I would give him some sourghum. I hope your girl will be alright!

How is Luke doing? Is he mating yet? Can any one tell me why cleo isn't laying eggs? Is it from shock of the accident? she is eating pretty good now on her own. Does anyome know if shock does that and she wont ever? I was really looking forward to her eggs and shes my on EE i have left
