I have a hova-bator with the turbo fan and I just bought an automatic egg turner. I went to put the lid back on after setting the eggs and 3 eggs hit the microswitch unit. I took them out and it closes perfect. It is the universal 41 egg hatching rack. The eggs are medium sized. I have the turner on the plastic tray and wire. Was I suppose to take those out? I believe it only hits when the racks are in the upright position.

The wire could be left out until lockdown. That would give a tiny bit more room, but you need the plastic tray for your humidity. You could try the three smallest eggs in that position or you will just have to leave those spots unused.
