Hello Friends,
I have never had a mite infestation. We just cleaned & sprayed The coop with Elector psp & treated the girls. I am still seeing mites but not as many. Has anyone ever dealt with this or have suggestions? They are pesty & usually show up on our cell phones after we have showered. Weird

Welcome!
Are these mites on the chickens, or free roaming in the coop, not actually chicken mites?
Either way, you will need to treat the birds and coop again in seven to ten days, and probably again for a third treatment. It's best to change out the bedding too.
Mites affecting poultry come in on the wild birds; here it's the wrens that invade our coop for chicken feed on a daily basis, and we are fighting mites right now too.

:welcome :frow I agree with Mary. Even though many say one treatment is enough with Elector PSP you will need a couple of thorough followup treatments which it does state in their fact sheet for mites. It does not kill mite eggs. A bonus is there is no egg withdrawal period. Good luck...
