Help!!! More than 10 chickens disappeared

We were kind of busy in the past week, so we did not count the chickens everyday. This afternoon, when we decided to count them, there were more than 10 chickens disappeared without trace. They are not baby chickens and lived in a closed chicken coop. The chicken coop is connected with a chicken run that has a high fence without a roof. I really appreciate it if anyone could please give any suggestions!!!!!

sorry for the circumstances. Sounds like a 'snatch and grab' predator that kills and carries off without leaving much sign. I would guess that coyote, fox or bobcat are all possibilities.

Some chickens are skilled flyers and can escape over tall fences or end up in trees. What breeds do you have? My buff orp often flies onto the coop roof even though the breed is said to be quite "heavy and large", by the way.

Yes. Nothing. There are very few features. But there were feathers before.

Thanks! The coop is locked, but has a whole at the bottom for the chicken run. We just put a net on top of the chicken run. I hope this thing will never happen again!!!
