Help....My 10 week old Blue Cochin cant stay balance

I got 5 chicks around Christmas that were vaccinated. One of them started stumbling around when I let them out to roam free yesterday morning. She has an appetite and really wants to get up and go but falls over and really has a difficult time getting back up. It is breaking my heart and I do not know what to do!!!

I believe with the Mereks vac, it doesn't mean that they can not get the disease, it only means they can build an immunity to it. So if it is something like Mereks, it can spread through dander, in the wind or on the soles of your shoes. It can infect an entire flock and you may not know because not all birds show symptoms. However, i recently had something similar happen in my flock, and it turned out the hen had an extreme vitamin deficiency. Try some vitamins in the water. The vitamins are meant for chickens, i prefer getting it on amazon because its cheaper than your neighborhood grain store. I would separate the sick hen immediately and get her some moistened food, maybe with applesauce and if she will drink, some water.

Thank you I am going right now to get a vitamin supplement. I keep reading that Enfamil Poly-Vi-Sol that is an infant vitamin suppliment works well. Have you heard of that?

There are good poultry vitamins at most TSC and other feed stores that go right into the water. Rooster Booster and Durvet make some. I would bring her inside for a day or teo to make sure that she is getting plenty to eat and drink in case she is being kept from food and water by the others. It helps to put out at least 2 feed and water stations far apart for the meek ones. Offer her some chopped egg and put some water into a little chicken feed for her.
