I had hatched one chick that was fine. Then a few hours later another was born with a very large unabsorbed yolk sac.
Please help, is there any hope?

I had 4 Welsummer chicks hatch like this and none of them lived. Hope you have better luck.

Yes there is hope. You need to pop it in a little box or an egg cup and pop it back into the incubator . It is very important not to pull at the yolk. Let it absorb into the chick.

I realize this is an older thread but I have a broody mama who hatched out one good chick over night and another late this morning. It's unabsorbed yolk sack (similar to the op's photo) is broken and oozing it's contents. It's weak and the mama seems oblivious.

Any suggestions as to how to assist it?

edit to update that the little one didn't make it.
