Help! My baby ducks are hatching!

My baby ducks are hatching and one came out with this at the bottom. I haven't seen one like this ever! What is it and will it be okay? She's moving and chirping fine but I'm worried.

It’s just the leftover egg sac that gives them energy. Some usually try and massage it back into them.

First let me say I have never hatched ducks, but from what I know that that is just the yoke, and should not harm it.

You need to put the rear end of the duckling in the shell and leave it there till it finishes absorbing the yoke! If the busts it will not be good!!!

I agree it is unabsorbed yolk and needs back in that shell asap. A rupture is fatal.

That is yolk. No, that's not normal and it should have absorbed before it hatched. Put the duck in a lined cup in the incubator. Duck needs to be still and isolated. Overtime, it should absorb. Do not mess with yolk and be careful to not puncture.
