Can you adjust the legs so height of plate is good for chicks to touch their backs against?

Oh yes you can adjust the legs. 3 different lengths. I have it on the top now because it was on the very bottom last week when I lost 4 babies within a few days. I thought they may of been getting too hot?

Hard to say whats going on.....what is the brand and model of that plate(link maybe)?
