Help, my chicken has one toe that is bend backwards.

I have a 11 week Barred Rock female. I just noticed her left outer toe is bend backwards, just one toe. She seems to walk okay and feels find, but what should I do for it? What could caused this? Any info is most appreciated.

I have 4 Barred Rock peeps that are 6 weeks, and I just noticed the exact same thing on 2 of them. I'm searching for answers as we speak.

The only thing I've found out is you can brace them when they are young. My BR is 12 weeks and they say you can't do anything about it then, too old.

It can be genetic, or injury or???? Our BR seems to be happy and walks around as if she has no problem.
