Diatomaceus Earth doesn't do any effect if ingested, because it becomes wet. It can work only if it is outside the body, like on the feathers. But the use of DE is discussed even outside the body. I think that it doesn't work on all types of mites.. Permethrin is less discussed for treating mites/lices (external use). @Wyorp Rock can you post a concentration for treating with permethrin? thank you!
