HELP!!!! My chickens arent laying....

Hi everyone,

I found this website searching things on rasing chickens, and I havent left it. I am a new chicken owner, and I am concerned because since we brought the chickens home on Saturday night, we have had only 1 egg, which broke because they laid it somewhere other than the nesting box....

I am not sure if they need to adjust to their new home, whether the weather has been a factor since it has been from the 80's on the weekend here in Cali, all the way down to 50's now....or what????

The man we bought these chickens from told us they are laying now, but we have yet had any (I'm not counting the one that broke....)
