This is a very odd situation- my first thoughts were worms/cocci. Try this website. It can be a little alarmist about illnesses, but it helps to narrow it down.

Could it be just stress from adding him...? Never had a rooster, or dealt with those symptoms.... but I did notice when I’d add a new hen...the other would get stressed even after quarantining, and they’d have diarrhea then huge poos!!
