Hi. So my chickens are about the age to start laying. I have one chicken whose wing hangs low, my other chicks started pecking at her butt, she is still eating, drinking and pooping. I am worried she could be egg bound, this would be her first egg. I've tried epsom salt baths, extra calcium, steamed shower. I don't know what to do, as I can't even be 100% sure she has an egg. I did get Peck No More (I think that was the name of it) and put that on her, it stopped the hens, but today I saw they started again. I hung cabbage to distract them. What more can I do? How would I know there is an egg bound? Can an egg be stuck sideways? Thanks for all the help!

Okay. So she’s not acting like herself at all?
Have you checked for injuries, mites, diseases?
Usually eg binding is much more acute.

She doesn't seem to have any injuries or mites. I would think the other chicks would have mites as well and none have them. If she has a disease I don't know how I would know. Another thing she has been doing is her rear feathers all raise and it looks like her vent is puckering.
