I have free range chickens. I have a chicken coop where 4 hens 1 rooster stay and a barn where the horses are but 2 hens and 1 rooster stay in there. Every morning I go let me chickens out of the chicken coop and I feed and water them. When I come inside I notice that my oldest rooster is chasing my youngest rooster and the 2 hens out to the road and they cross and go over to my neighbors. So i go out and chase them back. I live right on a hill and u can't see on it until your right up on it. The other hens and the oldest rooster will stay in the yard but not the other ones. Please help me I hatched 8 once in the incubator and gave 4 to a friend and 3 got hit that I hatched and sometime this year one of my hens (that I used to have) hatched a baby chick and the momma got hit because of it..what should I do?

They are leaving the yard because of the older rooster's aggression. As long as he has access to the younger flock they will try to escape his attacks. Removal of one of the roosters or penning of one of the flocks seem like the only viable solutions.

x2 -- each of the issues you are having with your current flock that you have shared thus far will be resolved with the removal of one of your roosters or creating separate enclosures for each flock.
