HElp, I had six barred rocks and three silver winged bantams in a coop. I read on here to use ivectermin for mites cause my silverwing bantam rooster had scaly legs. I put some on all the chickens in this coop between their shoulder blades like the forum said. I did this 12 days ago and since the one barred rock and all three of my bantams have died with no signs or symptoms. What is going on did the meds kill them? I dont understand I have never had these kind of problems before. I am SOOOO discouraged right now. Please Help :( I forgot to mention that the bantams were a year old and the barred rocks about a year and a half.

Did they overdose?
Did they have some symptoms of something before you wormed them? Did they look "off" , so you decided to worm them? I'm thinking maybe it started before you wormed them.

would giving them too much meds do this? I decided to worm because I had one barred rock looking pale, losing weight and losing a few feathers around her bottom and kneck. So i thought worms. But nothing was wrong with the bantams beside the scaly legs on the roostrer which I treated with vaseline. I think the Ivermectin might have been to much for the bantams. I used three drops on each including the bantams. I feel horrible

I don't know if that is enough to kill them but I do know that the normal bantam dose is one drop :( So sorry this happened to you....
