At this point, since the babies are with you in the house, I'd put them inside your clothing next to your chest. They may already be too far gone, and I'd also see if even a few drops of sugar water are accepted with a dropper but don't force anything into their throats. I'm so sorry, I know that many of you are going through a horrendous time in conditions to which you are not accustomed.

They'll probably perk up then!! Two months is pretty young to be out in a coop by themselves in the cold weather. They're not very big, and can't keep their body heat as well. If it's as bitter cold in Oregon as it is here, your heat lamps won't keep up. Bring the babies in.

yep-- that's cold. I bet your coop didn't get much over 20. Put a thermometer in there. We wrapped mine in thick plastic to keep out the wind.

That scares me. Mine are just over 2 mo. and I have them outside. I've been worried but they seem to be fine. I only have one heat lamp on mine.

We have had single digit temps here.

I have a three month old roo in the coop, but he has his own little brooder room and a heat lamp low down just for him. It is pretty cold here to have young birds out, mostly because they were late in the year hatches, and are accustomed to heat lamps. I guess that's why people like to hatch in the Spring-gives them time to grow and acclimate to the weather.
