Thanks everyone for your prompt responses, a few more questions if you can humor me! Do I do 5 days as the corid bottle suggests for cows or something different? Also do I need to do anything else to prevent re-infection or will the the bugs in the environment die off on their own?

Mix the Corid and water solution daily for 5-7 days. Your chicks should be back to normal in about 3 days but continue treatment.

Treat for 5-7 days.

You need to run Corid through their water every once in a while as a preventative. Cocci never "dies" and goes away. It's ALWAYS around..... lurking.

It's why keeping a supply of Corid is essential for a backyard flock keeper.
