HELP!!! My dog weaned her puppies and her stomach and all her teats are covered in bumps and blister

Nyla has had her puppies weaned for a few days. When she stopped nursing all these red bumps appeared and now a few have broke open. Some are purple and look like blisters. I can tell they are very sore to the touch. I have been putting hydrocortisone cream on her but haven't seen improvement. Do y'all think this is nursing related or something different?

I would do warm compresses with Epsom salt water.

Not sure what it is, but the warm compresses should reduce any swelling if it is nursing related.

My husband took a look at her and said he thinks she later in a fire any bed. We have them thick down here so that's very possible. Lets hope it is just ant bites and the cream and warm compress will help the poor gal.

You can give her a benadryl pill (25 mg) three times a day if she's 25 pounds, 2 pills three times a day if she's a bigger dog (50 pounds) or you can try one pill at a time, to see if it gives her an relief.

She is so much better. It was fire ants, a few of her puppies had those bites too. They all seem to have gotten better and the bad spots are still getting cream put on and fading quickly. Poor sweet girl! She is a tough one.
