Help! My duck flying into walls

My duck is an indoor duck, she does get plenty of outdoor time though. Recently she started flying straight into walls when she hadn’t before. I watched her face a wall and fly straight into it. :-( any ideas why? I thought she could have a little ducky neurological issue but she doesn’t have any other symptoms. Maybe just mentally ill?? Help!

Ducks need to be outside and are not indoor pets..They need to stretch their wings and have other Duck friends...They are flock birds and were livestock not house pets....

What time of day does she do it? If it's when it's getting dark, maybe she can't see very well? Just a guess though.

She does have 2 other duck friends. She’s not alone. They get plenty of outdoor time.

Does it seem like she is getting spooked by something? My ducks are petrified of anything new and act funny if something changes.

We see your post. . and your point is valid. .However a lot of people keep house ducks for a variety of reasons. If this behavior had not been happening and just now started I can understand why the o p is concerned.
This duck may not be house duck material. . but that doesn't mean being a house duck is the sole reason this is happening. Just my 2 cents.

Clip its wings then...I'm not being mean...Only honest about Ducks...Is it stressed ?....

I’m wondering if anyone has heard of ducks doing anything like this?? She has a large room, she flies in and out of, the other two cannot fly. They have interactive toys, grit, appropriate food, a night light. Just recently she started flying into walls on purpose. She never used to do that. She would fly outside and walk back to me or fly down the hallway. I am worried something mentally is wrong with her.
