Help my duck is having seizures!!!

Wait. Did the shot include niacin, or was it a B12 shot?

Has she been given any niacin? Since that is so linked to neurological development, I would get 150 mg in each gallon of drinking water to her starting right now, and do this for 6 to 8 weeks.
I said 200 mgs A since the duck is 10 weeks old. I'd start he on some asap. get plain niacin crush the tablet up as good as you can add to 1 gal of water mix again real good and put into what ever your using for her waterer.

The shot was b 3 it has niacin in it. I don't think it's botulism either. I started her on niacin 100 mg in her drinking water. Yesterday. I picked up elektrolytes to add also

I have 100 mg tabs of niacin I will give her another 100mg dose. My question Is do I add it to her water every time I change it? Some times she knocks it over while having a seizure mid day...I'm not sure if I should crush more up or not. I don't want to overdose her. I'm also going to start adding electrolytes is it safe to do this?

You can not OD niacin.

thank you I will try this then. I'm glad it's the weekend so I can keep a better eye on her. I will say though she had a better night last night she didn't wake me up having a seizure :) and this morning when I gave her her pill it wasn't as easy, she kept spitting it out :/ she's still not eating

When i need to give meds to any of my poultry i use bread. I put the pill even if i have to cut it several times and place it on a small piece of bread just the size they can eat easily, roll it up and scrunch the edges sometimes just moistening it a little so it stays together then I give it too who ever needs meds. My flock loves bread and since I keep it as something special always look forward to having a small piece not realizing there's med in it hiding.
