Help, my eggs are freezing,

You could get seedling warmers, its a plug in pad you put under seedlings to keep them warm for germination.You could put them in your nestboxes under the straw, and since they never get over 75 degrees it wont burn the straw and cause a fire.

I have read on this site some time ago about using fish tank warming mats. Do you have a pet store in the area? I have never seen one, but plan to look for something like that very soon as my temps keep getting colder here in New Hampshire.
 
I have also been researching the frozen egg issue, and will probably buy a seedling warmer or what ever they are called, but if I do, will plan to lay a sheet of 1/4" ply over the warmer to protect it from claws. Also will probably add a sheet of 1" styrofoam at bottom of box.
