Help! My eggs are leaking!!!

I've never had a goose egg explode before, but i think we've had ringneck pheasant eggs explode every time we hatch them. That smell is just rancid.

My older daughter ran in the kitchen with perfume and started spraying it. It wasn't until after I had bagged the eggs and had gotten the bag out of the house that I had realized that the perfume she was spraying is one that makes me sick to my stomach. So now my house smells like a combination of rotten eggs and nasty perfume. Yeah, my stomach is turning...

I'm pulling out the Lysol and scrubbing the WHOLE kitchen down. I wish I had some household ammonia. We don't use it cause we have cats. I'd definitely be sniffing it if I had some!

Rubbing a little mentholatum under your nose also will help mask the smell.

Well, I tried picking each of the remaining eggs up and tapping it softly and speaking to it, and holding it to my ear to see if I heard a peep, but I'm so darn deaf in one ear, and partially deaf in the other that I couldn't tell, so I asked my 11 yr old DD to do it, and she tapped them and talked to them, and she swears she heard a heartbeat in one. Is that possible? She says she heard absolutely nothing in 2 of them, but heard a heartbeat in the 3rd. I keep watching them but so far, nothing. None are leaking, thank goodness! I finally got that smell out of the house, and the smell of that nasty perfume! House smells like Lysol again, lol. I think today is day 33. I'm losing hope. I'm keeping the prayers going though!!!

Question- I rescued a goose egg... But it's leaking... But I also heard scratching noises coming from it. So is it alive...? It's leaking all over the egg... I don't know what to do!
