Yes that is a cock. I raised a SS this year and she did not have that large and red a comb at 10 weeks. Sorry!

Yes, cockerel. My favorite turned out to be a cockerel too. I think it is because they are more inquisitive and outgoing. The one that wants to be held the most I think usually turns out to be a he. I am going to get rid of my other roos though, and try and keep my fav. If you are gonna have a roo it may as well be one that likes people!
