HELP MY FLOCK IS GONE!

For anyone who wants an update.... I still have not found the babies...I'm guessing they are gone.... I now have 4 full grown golden comets I bought. I do like them but my Rhode Island reds were special. Any who maybe one day I'll get lucky and they'll show back up but kinda wishful thinking at this point... Heres a picture of my new chickens

Thank you for the update. I've been checking everyday to see if by chance you have found them. I'm still praying they'll find their way back to you. I wish you all the best with your new chickens, they look beautiful.

i don't know where you live but someone in Pennsylvania came across a flock, but it's been three weeks or so since they showed up at her work place

My friend lives by the woods and one day some random chicken came out of them. They have no idea where it came from. Probably the neighborhood a mile or so away.

I love it!!

I have 2 x much loved indoor cats who have an outside run for both theirs and the wildlife's protection. So, I am a cat lover .. however, like you, I do not love other people's cats on my property and have no qualms in telling them so.

Long story, but I nearly lost one of my cats due to her bolting out the front door when she spotted over the road's cat under our car. Not being an outside cat at all, she nearly got run over and if she had, I would have walked over and punched my neighbour without a second thought; wanted to do that even though Chimee did not get hurt.

I honestly believe that a cat fight right next to our coop in the night caused one of our chickens to either die of fright and fall off the roost or fall off the roost and break her neck. Cat fight at 2AM right next to coop, previously healthy chicken found dead the next morning; coincidence? I think not.

So yeah, I am hearing ya!

Last time kitty touched my flock was when Sunny Roo ran her up the hill he lives at the bottom of, screaming, spurs flying at her bum.
Kitty hates all birds now, as do both of my dogs, who experienced similar fates.
