Does it smell bad or feel like a water balloon?

Have not noticed an smell but it is spongy to the touch.

If no bad smell then it is Ascities. You treat by draining it with a needle and syringe, give extra heat (heat lamp or heating pad), and though not required I suggest adding antibiotics to their water to prevent infection from the drainage site.
