I recently had a silkie running around free-ranging when I spotted a broken egg hanging out of her. She wouldn't let me near her, so I thought it best to leave her alone until that night. Then, I'd get her out of the coop, give her an Epsom soak, and a calcium pill.

That night, I got her out of the coop, and she was fine. I gave her the calcium pill anyway in case any shells were stuck. That was about three weeks ago, and she's fine.

They don't all just fix themselves, but in this case, it looked worse than it was. Good luck with yours!
