HELP!!! My goose egg piped and it's not moving

Hello, my goose chick piped the shell yesterday and we removed some shell and some membrain today, I hatched two geese last year but they keep moving around and peeping. This one doesn't really do anything, I was wetting the shell and tapped the beak a cuple of times to check if he was alive and he would just open and close his mouth once and then stop. Is he sleeping or dying? What could I do to help? Plz help me

I'm so sorry, sounds like something went wrong in the shell. Probably nothing you could have done.
