We have appox 35 chickens left. Loosing perfectly healthy looking chickens 1-2 per week. Just lost 2 last night. I can't figure out whats wrong. Maybe something in the soil? We put them in their current coop in April and since then we have lost so many.

How old are the chickens dying? Coccidiosis is a disease from the soil that can kill many chickens in a flock, especially young ones between 3-20 weeks old. The symptoms are lethargy, standing puffed up, not eating, ruffled feathers, extreme weakness, and diarrhea or blood in droppings. The treatment is Corid (amprollium) in the water. Dosage is 2 tsp of the liquid, or 1.5 tdp of the powder, per gallon of water for 5-7 days. It is found in the cattle/hog medicines in feed stores. Your state vet can do a necropsy on a sick or dead chicken if you refrigerate the body, and send it in for a diagnosis. Here is a link about this: http://www.usaha.org/Portals/6/StateAnimalHealthOfficials.pdf

obviously they are not perfectly healthy, you need to give more info per signs/symtoms.
