HELP! My hen just ate a thick pony tail holder!

Please help me! My buff Orpington hen, Sunnie, just swallowed one of those thick pony tail holders. What do I do to help her!? Will she die? Will it get caught in her intestines and kill her??

Yes I know it sounds quite funny! She somehow found it when she was out free ranging. She swallowed it before I could catch her. I hate it when people leave their stuff around! I sure hope she won't die!!!!!
