My hen, Dusk, ( Australorp) got attacked recently. We live in the Suburbs btw...So, I heard her scream and an eagle screech. I saw her running. Something caught my eye....HER tailfeathers were missing! I bought her into my house. (It is cold outside) Dusk had a deep wound near her tailbone. She looked drowsy. I gave her food and water. She eats...but.....! She does not poop! Constipation! I don't know what to do! WORRIED! help asap.
That would mean so much to me..I'll see if she survives the night. :(

Yes, when? If it just happened, she'll be in shock - which can look much worse than it actually is.

She'll need to be cleaned up then provided a quiet safe space to recover. If you have an avian vitamin drench in your med kit (like polyaid), go ahead and give her a dose or see if you can get her to take some honey or good old sugar-water.

Other than that, give her some space and time to recover on her own at least overnight. From then, you can start assessing if she has not started eating\drinking.

If it's been a while, let us know as that could change things. Could any of the injuries have possibly caused internal trauma? Pictures would help. Hawks are very powerful and can do a lot of damage with those talons.

Sit her in a place with food and water where she wont be bothered. Give her a place to sleep that isnt high off the ground. The trauma may last long after the wound heals.
