Help, my horse trampled my duck!

My horse just trampled my duck and she's flapping her wings and can't hold her head up. What should I do?

Is a vet an option?

Get the duck inside first. Check for wounds and broken bones.
She is gonna need a warm, dark place to rest once you treat any injuries.

Please post some pics of her.

oh no! i would take her inside asap and check if it hurts her to touch her neck! also yell at your horse haha

Your horse put her weight on your duck? Didn't just accidentally kick her?

I hate to be that person, but if that's true, I think she's probably already dead. Even if she doesn't know it yet. Especially with the symptoms you describe.

Honestly sounds like she has bad internal damage. A horse putting weight on something as small as a duck....there's gonna be some serious injuries. I think you might want to do the kind thing here and put her down. I don't think this is something that she can recover from.

Thanks everyone for the wonderful advice and support! I am happy to report that the duck made a complete recovery and did not sustain and noticeable injuries.
